The annual general body meeting of IAIA - International Association of Intelligence Agencies, held at Brussels today unanimously selected India’s “RAW - Research and Analysis Wing” as the world’s best “COUNTER” intelligence agency.

Speaking to media at New Delhi, “RAW” chief said he was honored by the recognition and he thanked all who helped them in achieving this mile stone, notably - former Union Home Minister Mr. Siva Raj Patel, religious fundamentalist organizations and left wing extremists. He also made a special mention of “Ajmal Kasab and Co.” and their “Mumbai Massacre”, which broadcasted to the world the real effectiveness of Indian Intelligence agencies.

Speaking to media at Muzaffarabad, the spokes person of the banned religious outfit, which accepted responsibility for the “Mumbai Massacre”, thanked “RAW” chief for his acknowledgement and announced that his organization will do all the needful so that “RAW” will receive this dubious distinction year after year.

In a surprising move to counter India’s “Chandrayaan” launch, Pakistan today announced that it is launching “Sun-i-yaan” - Pak’s mission to Sun.

As India’s “Chandrayaan” (Mission to Moon) launch in late October made headlines across the world. Experts across the globe speculated some response from India’s arch rival Pakistan, which is world famous for carrying out misadventures in trying to respond Indian threat.

The speculations became true today, with Pakistan Space Research Organization (PSRO) announcing “Sun-i-yaan” program. During a press conference at Islamabad PSRO chairman said “Sun-i-yaan” will be Pakistan’s and probably world’s first mission to Sun. He however did not disclose budgeting or time line details fearing sabotage from Indian intelligence agencies. Though majority of nation were jubilant over the decision some sections of the society like economists were concerned about the cost of the project while the country’s economy is already in crisis. PSRO chairman responded that budgeting won’t be a problem and as long as America is involved in “War on Terror” Pakistan can extort as much money as possible from it.

Still notable space research organizations across the world including “NASA” were doubtful about the scientific feasibility to send a craft to “Sun” considering the extreme heat conditions prevailing. PSRO countered the arguments and said that in a revolutionary solution to over come extreme heat, Pakistani scientists have decided to design “Sun-i-yaan” in such a way that it will approach “Sun” only during night time.

A movement demanding declaration of “Madras Bashai” as classical language is gathering momentum in the southern metropolis Chennai (Madras). For people who are not familiar with “Madras Bashai” - it’s a slang of a language which “Madarasis” believe to be “Tamil”. It draws most of its vocabulary from Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and all languages across the world other than Tamil.

Conferring classical language status to “Madras Bashai” is opposed by some quarters, especially the real Tamil scholars who say “Madras Bashai” need to first prove itself to be a language before demanding classical status. Some Tamil Nadu politicians say “Madras Bashai” does not need classical status as real “Tamil” is already declared as a classical language. But the supporters of “Madras Bashai” seem to be undeterred by this opposition. The movement is growing stronger by day. Particularly in the “North Chennai” area - comprising Parrys, Washermenpet, Tondiarpet the support has been almost 100%. Though support in “South Chennai” is comparatively less in some pockets like Saidapet the support is as overwhelming as North Chennai.

Speaking to reporters the movement leader “Mylai Kabali” issued warnings against state government and asked union government of India to act at the earliest. He also warned if the state and union governments don’t act in time they may go for a “Raj Thackrey” style agitation to throw non “Madras Bashai” speaking tamils out of Chennai. He also confirmed the media reports that Chennai Mayor who proudly remarked in several occasions that his mother tongue is “Madras Bashai” and not “Tamil” is ready to resign the Mayor post for the movements cause.

The law termed as “Anti Birthday Celebration Activities Prevention Act (ABCAP)” lays the guidelines for the amount to be paid by government officials based on their grade.
